I’ve had dark circles under my eyes for a long time (i think it’s a genetic thing) but now they’re really bad. Most days they’re so purple it looks like I have bruises under my eyes. And sometimes people even ask me if I have a black eye. Can anyone help????

Put a wet face coth in the freezer for about 20 mins, so it gets really cold and then just lie in on your eyes. Try Cucumber on your eyes everynight.
to hide them use a light conceler, and then put your foundation over the top. :D

I’m posting two articles here. They’re both relatively short and between them you should find something that works for you :) Good Luck

    Potato Treatment For Dark Circles

Fade dark circles from under your eyes with grated potatoes. Potatoes contain an enzyme called catecholase, which is a skin lightener often used in cosmetics.

Use a food processor, or an old fashioned grater, to mash one raw potato. Wrap your mash in a piece of cheesecloth or something similar, then apply it directly to the area beneath your eye. Be careful to not get any of the potato juice into your eye.

Allow your concoction 15 to 20 minutes to work. Then take the cloth and its contents away from your eye and rinse off the residue.

    Treatment for puffy eyes

For many people the area around the eyes is a problem. Allergies, aging, water retention, can all show up as puffy eyes. You can keep your eyes looking younger and healthier with a few simple tricks.

    * Always remove your eye makeup before going to sleep.

    * Elevate your head when sleeping to help prevent water retention in the eye area.

    * Splash really cold water on your face first thing in the morning. This will dilate the vessels of the skin and shrink the pores reducing puffiness right away.

    * Hydration is important, if your skin is puffy drink lots of water in the morning.

    * Firm the area under your eyes with a firming cream.

    * Apply Hemorrhoid Cream. Be sure to find a cream that has sharks liver oil and yeast in it. (Do not get any of the cream directly on your eyeballs)

    * Rejuvenate your skin with an ointment containing Ginseng and retinal. Ginseng will have an instant tightening effect and retinal will reduce fine lines. (Check your local health food stare)

    * Use Cold Spoons. Stick two teaspoons in the refrigerator or freezer for a few minutes, then gently press them onto the eye area to soothe, cool and reduce swelling. (If using the freezer check to be sure the spoons are not too cold before applying them to your skin)

    * Applying cool cucumber, apple, or potato slices to your closed eyes for a few minutes, will reduce puffiness naturally.

    * Get two tea bags, either used or soaked in water, and chill them in cold water or the fridge. Place them directly on the puffy area for about ten minutes. The tannin in the tea will help to reduce puffiness.

    * Wear a cold gel or water mask for a few moments. It not only reduces puffiness but can be very soothing as well.

    * Apply Aloe Vera gel directly to the problem area. If you do not have plans you can leave it on. Or if you would rather, wash it off with cool water after about ten minutes. Give the Aloe a little boost by adding vitamin E oil to it.

    * Treat yourself with a little massage. Place your middle fingers on your cheek bones near the outside corners of each of your eyes and gently massage under the eyes to the inside corners.

    * Add to the benefits of the massage by using cotton balls dipped in cold milk. Or even ice cubes instead of your fingers.

    * Reduce your salt intake. Eating too much salt can cause your body to retain water.

    * When puffiness is caused by allergies take an antihistamine.
