Does using tea bags really help reduce dark circles under your eyes?

Posted on October 16th, 2009 by admin

I’ve hear using tea bags helps reduce dark circles under your eyes. Is that true?

And if it is true how do you prepare the teabags to put on your dark circles?

Thanks!

Yeah actually it does. The tea has caffeine in them which constricts the blood vessles under puffy or dark eyes.

Yes it helps you can use the used bag . Keep the used bag in freezer for at least 30 minutes and then place them on your eyes and relax for some time . Check out http://useinfo-darkcircles.blogspot.com/ for more info.

Just be sure it’s a light colored tea otherwise it could stain your skin.

Yes it can,I tried it a few years ago,and it helped. But it only works for awhile. I think when I did it,I made some tea, steeped it in the cup, took the bags out,and after they cooled,I guess wringing them out so they won’t drip? I think that’s how I did it,and laid back with them for a few minutes, but if you do it,I would be careful about getting it in my eyes. It would probably make a difference what type of tea you use, like green tea would probably be better,or one with herbs that would be more suited to helping the problem.
