Orange tones tend to have a neutralizing affect on darker purplish or blueish tones and greens have neutralizing affects on reds. I think some makeup lines even sell orange and green sticks that are made specially for the delicate under eye or blemishes. Hee ^-^ i like this.

I just recently …
I just recently discovered the orange myself. I use the Too Faced Herbal Eye Concealer in Hollywood Medium- its an orange base- and it works wonderful. I also have used a mixture of concealer and orange blush/powder, and it works awesome.
For those that are different colors of skin you can use a color wheel and whatever color those pesky undereye circles are (purple, darker blue, etc) you can actually find the opposite color will make it disappear! Great video!

Well, I tried it…and it does work although it’s a little drying. If you have fine lines like me then it seems to accentuate them. I think I’m just going to go out and get an orange lipstick. Thanks for the great tip..I would’ve never guessed that orange would work.

Oooo, I’m gonna try that! I’ll stop by the drugstore tomorrow and get some orange Wet n’Wild lipstick! I have serious dark shadows, and just concealer isn’t enough– too much and I basically just put a highlighter on the problem!
