I would say the cold spoon trick could help with puffiness.

I haven’t tred the Garnier roll-on stick but I doubt it works… Caffeine on your eyes… erm caffeine is indirectly a cause of dark circles (dehydration).

If all else fails, I would try to cover them up with some MAC concealer (there is one for eyes), costs about a tenner. If you don;t want to put something that heavy, you cna use a highlighter (not just YSL, there are knock-offs that will work just as well).

Also,the Elderflower gel from Body Shop previously mentioned.

However, I would start by trying out the Superdrug Vit E Eye cream: it contains some sparkle there to help deflect the light from your dark circles (a bit like a highlighter) and does help prevent wrinkles and has a SPF 15 sunscreen and it’s only 3 pounds!

Be careful about what type of teabag you use. If you have allergies, a tea bag full of chamomile may cause your eyes to swell.

Do not apply ice or extremely cold water directly to the skin around the eyes for more than a few seconds.

Exercise caution when using a new cosmetic product or trying a home remedy. If the condition worsens, or if you exhibit other symptoms, discontinue use immediately and contact your primary care physician or dermatologist for severe or persisting symptoms.

Start taking a multivitamin, or at least make sure you’re getting everything you need out of your diet. Dark circles can indicate a vitamin deficiency.

Quit smoking, don’t drink on a regular basis (no getting drunk) and if you use drugs, kick that habit. These all cause dark circles.

Reduce the caffeine you drink, especially later in the day.

Make sure you’re drinking enough water and are keeping hydrated throughout the day.

Limit the time you spend staring at monitors and television screens, as this can tire your eyes, cause twitches, etc. My guess would be that they can also lead to dark circles.

Cold will reduce swelling and inflammation, so you can apply chilled cucumber slices. You could also put warm green tea bags in a washcloth and put that over your eyes, like an eye-mask, as green tea has antioxidants and is good for the skin. Remember that your skin is very thin under your eyes. so be gentle to them and don’t apply extreme heat or cold.
