Remedies For Dark Circles

* An instant dark circles remedy is to use the correct concealer. The shade should be lighter than your foundation. If circles are very dark, choose 2 shades lighter. Great choices can be Revlon New Complexion Concealer, Estee Lauder Smoothing Skin Concealer, Cover Girl Smoothers Concealer, or Neutrogena Smoothing Skin Stick.

* Apply a good Vitamin K cream. Vita-K Solution gel or Peter Thomas Roth Power K Eye Rescue help strengthen capillary walls around the dark circles to make them less visible.

* One should go for laser treatment only if the case is chronic. Lasers can increase production of collagen thereby thickening skin to make dark circles less visible.

* Home remedies for dark circles can include the following:
1. Drink plenty of water to combat dehydration.
2. Wear at least SPF 30 sunscreen to prevent more sun damage.
3. Get enough sleep.
4. Leave cold teabags, cucumber or potato slices, or washcloths with ice cubes on eyes for 15 minutes regularly.
5. Take iron supplements if anemic, but consult your doctor first.
6. Identify the allergens and avoid them. Whether it be pollen, food, whatever, avoidance is the best solution to this. And avoid rubbing your eyes.

* Hylexin is the first dark circles eye cream developed for serious dark circles. Featured in several magazines such as Marie Claire, FashionWeekDaily, The Wall Street Journal , Star and Luck.

* One of the greatest remedies for dark circles is Arbonne’s NutriMinC® RE9 Repair. It’s a corrective puffiness and dark circles eye cream that does additional benefits – firming, moisturizing and repairing the delicate tissue around the eye.

What works best to remove dark circles under the eyes?

Posted on November 7th, 2009 by admin

You need to get sleep. Try and get at least 8 hours a night. If you can’t however, or if you still have spots, there are other alternitives. Use a very gentle cleanser. If you use a harsh mask or something with a lot of chemicals the top layers of your skin are going to leave making your skin, 1. red and irritated, and 2. making the thin skin under your eyes even thinner, which will give you dark, and something red or purple under eye circles. You should also consider a concealer. Lots of people say apply the concealer before foundation to make it stick, but I reccomend otherwise, because it will blend better. Pick a color lighter than your skin and foundation and just put 3 dots under each eye, equally spread apart, and blend.Be sure to drink plenty of water, too, this can reduce under eye circles. Also, realize, most people have under eye circles, yours probably aren’t that bad, and people probably don’t notice. I used to always think mine were terrible and get all upset, because I never really looked for the circles in others, then I started looking at peoples under-eyes and noticed that pretty much everyone around me had them, many people worse, (people I saw ALL the time!) and I just never noticed. If you are a girl, you might also want to try some mascara to open your eyes up, so you’ll look more awake and alert. Hope this helps you some, and next time you go out, have a look at the people around you and see you’re not alone! Good luck!

Why can’t plastic surgeons remove dark circles under eyes?

Posted on October 30th, 2009 by admin

Let’s say I am a guy and don’t want to wear make-up. Since plastic surgeons do plenty of eye surgery, including delicate tissue, why can’t I find info on removing dark circles? If you say they can, and have a reference, please list it. Thanks! (If you are suggesting Avon or other creams, please don’t reply. This is only a plastic surgery question)

They can’t because it’s a symptom- it’d be like asking them to remove measles. Whilst the cause can be tiredness, an allergy or heredity, apparently the most common cause is nasal congestion.

Have you considered trying vodder technique manual lymph drainage? It’s non invasive (actually feels nice) and would probably be cheaper and friendlier to you body than bleaching or lasers….

How to remove dark circles under the eyes? 10 points!?

Posted on October 28th, 2009 by admin

Please help me! tell me how much sleep a day I need what I need to eat and home remedies or something like it that will actually work. I tried putting cold spoons that I put in the freezer and it made it worse! Please help thanks

Oh yeah Im 16….if that helps.

Get plenty of rest. I know it sounds very cliché, but you really do need your beauty sleep. Do your best to get at least 7 hours of sleep each night.

Eat well and drink lots of water. Include plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, fish and lean meat. The vitamins and minerals in healthy food will improve your complexion, give you more energy and overall make you feel better. It will show in your eyes as well. Combine this with drinking at least 8 glasses of water and your skin will stay more elastic which helps with the appearance of dark circles in addition to many other skin problems.

Black Tea bags make for a great eye remedy. The black tea will help tighten the skin around your eyes, and it gives the eyes themselves a nice glow. Just brew yourself a cup of black tea and then use the teabag on your eyes. Don’t burn yourself, but put it on there as hot as you can comfortably stand it.

Grate some potato with a cheese grater and put the potato pieces under your eyes. Let them soak in for about 15 minutes, then rinse with plenty of warm water.

When everything else fails, hide your dark circles under some light concealer. Pick a shade just slightly lighter than your makeup. Put some on your index finger and gently tap it under your eyes. Use a sponge to smooth it out. Don’t use your fingers or the concealer stick to rub it in. That will make the circles appear even worse.
