How do you cover up dark circles under your eyes?

Posted on March 8th, 2010 by admin

I’m only 16 years old and I have to wear loads of foundation and concealor under my eyes. However much makeup I use, it looks cakey and only slightly reduces the appearance of darkness. Is there any makeup or skin products that will get rid of them or cover them up? My skin is really pale, which probably makes them even darker. None of my friends have this problem. I can’t even stay out for long as I know that the makeup will have all came off within a few hours, so I have to go home and re-apply it. Is there any makeup that looks natural, is effective in concealing, stays on for a long time and isn’t bad for your skin?

try using green concealer before you put on the foundation.

I don’t know what to do…My eyelids and under my eyes are always always darker than the rest of my face. When I see pictures of me without any makeup on..I look like a ZOMBIE!
I didn’t know if anyone had any home remedies or a product that would help fade this darkness away!

Thanks in advance!

Remedies For Dark Circles
•An instant dark circles remedy is to use the correct concealer. The shade should be lighter than your foundation. If circles are very dark, choose 2 shades lighter. Great choices can be Revlon New Complexion Concealer, Estee Lauder Smoothing Skin Concealer, Cover Girl Smoothers Concealer, or Neutrogena Smoothing Skin Stick.
•Apply a good Vitamin K cream. Vita-K Solution gel or Peter Thomas Roth Power K Eye Rescue help strengthen capillary walls around the dark circles to make them less visible.
•One should go for laser treatment only if the case is chronic. Lasers can increase production of collagen thereby thickening skin to make dark circles less visible.
•Home remedies for dark circles can include the following:
1.Drink plenty of water to combat dehydration.
2.Wear at least SPF 30 sunscreen to prevent more sun damage.
3.Get enough sleep.
4.Leave cold teabags, cucumber or potato slices, or washcloths with ice cubes on eyes for 15 minutes regularly.
5.Take iron supplements if anemic, but consult your doctor first.
6.Identify the allergens and avoid them. Whether it be pollen, food, whatever, avoidance is the best solution to this. And avoid rubbing your eyes.
•Hylexin is the first dark circles eye cream developed for serious dark circles. Featured in several magazines such as Marie Claire, FashionWeekDaily, The Wall Street Journal , Star and Luck.
•One of the greatest remedies for dark circles is Arbonne’s NutriMinC® RE9 Repair. It’s a corrective puffiness and dark circles eye cream that does additional benefits – firming, moisturizing and repairing the delicate tissue around the eye.

Can oranges reduce dark circles under your eyes?

Posted on February 26th, 2010 by admin

I’ve been looking towards beauty tips, and I have dark circles under my eyes. They make pretty much every picture I take turn out bad. I don’t have any cucumbers, but I always see oranges on the eyes too? Could oranges replace cucumbers? And could you tell me how you do this?

It might help but it could be risky if they were placed too closely by your eyes. It would definitely sting if that happened.

Cucumbers are sort of ineffective. They’re just cool and soothing but they don’t lighten up the eye area much. Using green tea bags helps more for me, if you ever wanted to try that out. You just soak them in cold water for awhile and place them over your eyes. That has always helped me a lot!

What to do about dark circles under your eyes.?

Posted on February 22nd, 2010 by admin

Im only 14 and I have really bad dark circles under my eyes and I have no clue why. Im very healthy and Im not on drugs, so why are they this way, and how can I get rid of them?

Dark circles are down to thin skin under the eyes where blood passing underneath can show through, it’s often just genetic but other factors come into it such as lack of sleep, illness and bad diet. The usual rules apply with all health and beauty, get plenty of sleep (8+ hours) and good diet – food allergies (dairy and caffine being the most common), lack of iron can contribute to the problem, excessive toxin build-up can be a factor too (drinking lots of water will help). I know from personal experience how important iron is as I have freakishly heavy periods, I always find as a result my eyes become very dark underneath.

There isn’t that much you can do with dark circles, you can reduce puffiness which in turn helps with dark circles. Have you ever heard of models using hemeroid cream to ease off puffy eyes? Well they do, it works because the active ingredient is witchhazel, this deals with puffiness the same way it’d ease swelling in hemeroids or spots. So look for products or home treatment recipes that contain witchhazel, another tip is using cooled chamomile tea bags applied to eyes for 15 minutes, or keep teaspoons in the freezer to pop under your eyes in the morning. Use a light concealer, but not too light, try using a concealer with a yellow tint to hide dark circles but be sure to dab rather than rub as if you’re harsh under your eyes it can make things worse, try using a sponge or your middle finger which will apply less pressure than your forefinger. I find mascara makes things worse as half way through the day it ends up under my eyes, so I avoid that problem by dying my lashes, then curl with eyelash curlers before applying a little vasaline to wipe off powder from my lashes, hold in place and emphasize.

How can you keep from getting dark circles under your eyes from eyeliner and mascara?

Posted on February 20th, 2010 by admin

I use mascara and eyeliner a lot and I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to keep it from getting the area under your eyes from getting dark, especially when you remove it.
The only things I know that work are using clear mascara and special eye makeup remover, but that doesn’t completely work. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Well to keep it it from going under your eyes is to apply a certain kind of primer to the top of the eye and then the eyeliner so it stays in place. To make the mascarastay in place put primer on the lashes first. Sometimes when I need to take makeup off and keep it in place I put tape on under the eye very gently, wpe off the makeup and then peel the tape off when Im done. Hope this helps!

a solution for dark circles under your eyes?

Posted on February 18th, 2010 by admin

i have dark circles under my eyes and I’ve basically tried every cream i can. i don’t like make-up and i sleep well. are there any other options i could try?

I have a few points on what you could try:
1) get plenty of sleep
2) drink lots of water
3) place a cool teabag on the eye 4 15 mins
4) place a thin slice of cucumber on 4 15 mins
5) apply toothpaste!..trust me..it does really work.
6) 1 teaspoon of milk and 1 of honey. mix. apply. leave it on 4 1hour. then rinse. this will make your dark skin fade away, and bcum more soft. TRUST ME. i tried it, it worked.
7) you could try applying lemon juice.
Gud Luk: Pik me as yr best answer if i helped. x
