Anyone know any good home remedies for dark circles under the eyes?

There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.

If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:
Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water & stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath & let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K & Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

To hide dark circles, you can use YSL concealer or salmon concealer..

How do you get rid of dark circles from under your eyes?

Posted on November 26th, 2009 by admin

I have dark circles under my eyes. They aren’t totally completley dark. They are just kinda out there. Are there anyways to lessen the darkness without using makeup to cover them up? Or are there ways to lessen with items in the house????

ugh, i’m the same, when i don’t get sleep i look like a vampire but when i do get enough they’re still kinda out there. i tried so many products and none of them worked very noticeably so i gave up and bough rimmel anti-fatigue concealer which was only £4.88, make-ups the only way…

Pale with dark circles under eyes: why and how to fix it?

Posted on November 26th, 2009 by admin

Hi, my problem is that i have always been pale, but lately my face is more pale than my body (weird), and i have more noticeable dark circles under my eyes. I eat a balanced diet, exercise every day, and i don’t have anemia, I can’t go tanning because i can’t tan – i get burnt.
So, is there a reason why i look like this and a remedy to this? (Diet, vitamins, etc.) I use self-tanner, but i would like a "less cosmetic" solution.
Thanks!

I have dark circles under my eyes too. I’ve been using "Sudden Change Under-Eye Serum" That seems to be doing the trick.

It’s difficult to say what causes them… in my case, it’s likely all the medication I take.

I also use a self-tanner… The Nivea Skin Firming. (of course, I still look white as a sheet)

Any treatment for dark circles under the eye?

Common misconception is that CUCUMBERS reduce puffiness. Cucumbers are only used for the refreshing feeling from the coolness.

Potatoes are much better cause the starch removes the puffiness. Cut a couple of slices and leave it in the fridge for half an hour then leave it on your eyes for 10-15 mins the night before

What is a home method for getting rid of dark circles under your eyes?

Is this due to lack of sleep and/or a lack of a nutritional need?

might be due to lack of sleep or an unbalanced diet, or it might just be genetic.
One good trick is to get two tea bags (lipton or some other black tea) and get them wet, then place them over your eyes for ten minutes or so.

Dark circles under eyes and headaches around eyes?

Posted on November 26th, 2009 by admin

I have been having headaches around both my eyes for the past few weeks and now I notice large dark circles under both eyes. Can someone give me some information on the cause of this/what this is?
The only medicine I am on is Accutane

How long have you been on Accutane? I was on that drug for about a year and the first 3 months it gave me regular and chronic headaches. Paracetamol helps some but if they are really bad you might want to see your dermatologist and consider dropping your dosage. It means you will be on the drug longer but will be more bearable.

how do I get rid of dark circles under my eyes?

I’m only 14 and have bad dark circles! Is there any way I can remove them at home with out make up. I don’t own any make up. There is Absolutely none in my house. People say I look so old. any natural ways to remove dark circles?

a multivitamin with vitamin k in it and plenty of water. my niece is only 8 and has had horrible dark circles since she was 4, after finally convincing her mom to get her a decent chewable vitamin with vitamin k in it they are starting to get better. she has only been on them for 2 months and instead of looking like she has been hit in the eyes all the time they are just a little darker than her skin.
